Member Insurance

Willis Australia has worked closely with Netball Australia to design the Netball Australia Risk Protection Program to suit the requirements of all Member Organisations.

All Netball WA Affiliation fees are inclusive of the insurance premium, which covers members from 4.00pm 31 December 2012 to 4.00pm 31 December 2013. Insurance cover applies to members who are involved in Netball WA sanctioned competitions and activities ONLY. Members are not covered if they play in a non-affiliated netball competition.

It is a contractual obligation of Regions/Associations to ensure that all members participating within their Region/Association are affiliated to Netball WA including coaches, umpires and committee personnel.

To minimise the possibility of a risk management issue arising, Netball WA recommends that Regions/Associations/Clubs use the Willis Insurance and Netball Australia Match Day Check List and Guidelines.

Netball WA also suggest Associations familiarise themselves with the Netball WA Personal Injury Claim Form, which will ensure the claim process runs efficiently in the case of an injury.
